TRICK OR TREAT SO KIDS CAN EAT
FUHS Thespians and Drama Club collected and donated 1,000 pounds of canned foods to FIES (Fullerton Interfaith Emergency Services). This more than doubles the donation of last year.
For over thirty years, FIES has been serving the needs of the homeless and hungry of Fullerton and surrounding communities through donations such as this.

On March 26th, 2012, at the famous Mark Taper Forum, Christopher Smith (class of 2013) was selected as the 1st place Regional Finalist in the August Wilson Monologue Competition.
August Wilson was one of the greatest playwrights of the twentieth century, and his ten-play Century Cycle is a singular achievement in the American theatre. Individually, they are among the most acclaimed American dramas of the last quarter century; taken all together they are unlike anything that has ever been attempted, much less achieved, in the American theatre. The August Wilson Monologue Competition utilizes performance tools and text analysis to help students explore the interior lives of August Wilson’s characters and study the social, economic and historical realities they inhabit.
Christopher will now head to the August Wilson Theatre on Broadway
in New York to perfrom at the National Finals on May 7th. He also received college scholarships.
