Fullerton Union High School's Summer Wagner is a 2015 Orange County Register Varsity Arts finalist for the Theater Arts. For her final presentation she performed two original pieces written by her, "Foreground Epiphany" and "For My Sister."

In May 2014, Los Angeles area high school students Jonah Gould, Leaf Rickard and Mykaela Sterris traveled to New York as part of the national August Wilson Monologue Competition. Center Theatre Group serves as the Los Angeles regional home to the competition and held the regional finals in March where these three students were selected as national finalists.
